So what the person below me said about this bed is all true. The slats
are thin, cheap, and only 4. And it is too low from the headboard
leaving a space between your mattress and the heardboard. BUT, that
being said, its nothing that cant be fixed. I'll admit when I first put
my mattress onto the slats and go into the bed, i immediately sunk
between the slats. So unfortunately, this bed CAN NOT be a platform
bed. All I had to do to fix all the issues was use my box springs under
my mattress. This fixed the sinking slats issue, gave me more support,
and fixed the space between the mattress and the heardboard. Now, I
absolutely LOVE the bed! I wrapped the boxsprings in a bedskirt so it
didnt show. It looks very fancy and expensive, but for only $125 it was
a huge bargain. I have no bad things to say about this bed after
adding my own boxsprings.
